This week’s comic introduces Julie, Matt’s naive yet lovable Chinese girlfriend, and sheds more light upon the enigmatic Ferdinand, Julie’s one-eyed cat.

The characters in this comic come from an animated short made during my junior year at Alfred University. The story follows Matt, our hero, his misanthropic Turkish expatriate friend, Ozgur, and Matt’s girlfriend Julie through his mundane yet charmed life. Images from the 20 minute short (which was originally supposed to be a 3 episode arc) can be found in the digital gallery. As I properly introduce the other characters, I’ll have more information available. Until then, sit tight and enjoy the show!
